Abstract

In May 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Cirebon Municipality of 0.98 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.26.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by -0.28 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.73 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.22 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.98 percent; health group by 2.77 percent; transportation group by 0.50 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by -0.05 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.56 percent; education group by 2.27 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.12 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.71 percent.
