Abstract

  • In March 2025, the year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation rate in Cirebon City was 0.24 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.64.  
  • The y-o-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the rise in the indices of all expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverages, and tobacco group rose by 1.06 percent; the clothing and footwear group rose by 3.14 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group decreased by -6.43 percent; the household equipment, tools, and routine household maintenance group rose by 2.10 percent; the health group rose by 1.81 percent; the transportation group rose by 1.29 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group decreased by -0.03 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group rose by 1.85 percent; the education group rose by 2.27 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant services group rose by 2.64 percent; and the personal care and other services group rose by 2.82 percent.
