Inflation Report of Cirebon Municipality in March 2024

In March 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Cirebon City will be 2.70 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.39.

     Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.07 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.15 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.65 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.87 percent; health group at 0.53 percent; transportation group by 0.14 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.16 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.28 percent; education group at 1.42 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.75 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 1.48 percent.

     The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Cirebon City in March 2024 are 0.65 percent and 1.24 percent respectively.
