The poor population as of September 2024 in West Java was 3.67 million people or 7.08 percent. This figure decreased by 0.38 percentage points when compared to the March 2024 period which was 3.85 million people. This was conveyed by the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Java Province, Darwis Sitorus at the Official Statistics News release at the BPS West Java Provincial Office Hall on Wednesday, (15/01/2025).
